Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect upon hiring you?

Private & Group Clients:

I highly recommend calling or emailing before you book as a means of gaining absolute clarity on what your chosen service will entail, as well as expectations to consider, to make your session as seamless, comfortable, and professional as possible. Upon deciding to book, you will select a date and time that works best for all parties involved, and have the option of meeting for a pre-session consultation. The consultation (in person or via phone call) will detail information about the shoot itself and tips on what to wear and how to best prepare. Approximately 14 days (depending on service and package) after your shoot, your images will be made available for collection. Final delivery of your prints, digital images, and products will take place in person shortly thereafter.

Wedding Clients:

Wedding sessions will typically follow the same process as the aforementioned, except that the pre-consultation will be mandatory (still free of charge). This is done to gain pertinent details regarding your wedding, the wedding timeline, and other considerations for your special day.  We will discuss your venue as well as any special things you may want me to focus on.  This will also allow me to visit and scout the wedding venue, and if you have a wedding rehearsal, I may ask to attend. This will allow me to gain some insight into the wedding proceedings.

Within 45 days of your wedding, your images will have been delivered to you via a storage device. There is also an option to have them posted to a password-protected online gallery, where you can view them, select images for print, and download them. Your online gallery will be accessible for no longer than 60 days, after which your images will be archived. Completion of images selected for additional editing will take place within 30 days after your approval.

All Clients:

I typically provide at least two complimentary watermarked images to you for viewing and posting, as well as choosing no more than two for posting on my business Facebook page and Instagram, within 48 hours of your session.  You can tag your image(s) and share them with friends and family on social media. It is understood by you (the client) that this watermark may not be obscured, removed, altered, or otherwise manipulated in any manner that does not make Revealed Images immediately and definitively identifiable as the service provider.

Will I see every single image that you take?

I take TONS of photographs for every session  - more than you will receive as part of your final package.  The reason for this is that there are always instances of movement, closed eyes, distraction, poor lighting, etc. These types of images are commonly referred to as "outtakes," and are not included in client galleries or packages.

What file format will I receive my images in?

Revealed Images makes an effort to produce images of the highest quality, and thus, will only provide finished, high-quality photos in JPEG format.

Digital photos without post-processing are similar to images from a film camera in need of further development. With our retouching expertise, we will ensure that most, if not all, aberrations, artifacts, or similar distortions (that may arise due to factors beyond our or the client's control) are professionally removed to present your images with the highest quality color, clarity, and composition.

Will you be watermarking my digital images?

Private Photo Sessions - Revealed Images watermarks all post-processed images, digital or print, with a minimally invasive logo.  All unedited images are watermarked digitally.  Once payment and transfer of your images are complete, they are yours to use and share as you wish, but Revealed Images will always retain the copyright for the images created by us. This means that no 3rd party entity, vendor, business, or the like may use the images for monetary gain via any means without crediting Revealed Images as the creator. If the intended purpose for the images is to be monetized, then the session becomes a Commercial session and is no longer deemed to be private.

Commercial Photo Sessions - Are subject to the same policies outlined for all other sessions, but with the expressed purpose of being used for advertising, promotion, or any other means of dissemination that will result in financial compensation for the client, their representatives, or any 3rd party in a position to do the same. All images for commercial photo sessions are free from watermarks, aside from digital watermarks.

Can you provide my photography needs?

I have been learning and practicing my craft for over 15 years, having received my start at St. John's University as part of my Graphic Design studies. I have also successfully worked overseas in image-dependent industries and ventures.

It is my background in art and graphic design that allows me the ability to add that extra 'bit of something' to images that makes them stand out from the rest. Take a view at some samples located in my Photo Albums to see a few of the images created for past clients. I hope that these examples can give you a fair estimation of my skill set and what I can do to make your images stand out from the rest.

I simply want to say that you, the customer, are my ultimate priority. I will ensure that you receive the highest quality experience possible at an affordable and competitive rate. My team and I will do all we can to fulfill your vision of what you want your images to represent, and will happily engage with you in the creative process. We seek to avoid as many if not all, issues and conflicts that can arise by providing exceptional service. If, however, I feel for any reason that I can not provide the service that you seek at a high standard, and a rate that is fair to you, the customer, and myself, then I will be honest and tell you so.

Lastly, photography is an art, and as with any art, is ever-evolving. I, as a photographer, must evolve with it to produce a quality product, so I'm always learning and expanding my skill set to the best of my ability. I started this business because I love creating art; beautiful images that preserve memories and make people feel good about themselves. I want people to have an amazing experience in front of my camera, and to receive a product that is well worth every penny spent. I want you to value the art we create together for many years to come.

It would be my pleasure to have the opportunity to work for you!
